Be near the Gold Coast 100 in June with our Biggera Waters accommodation.

Returning to the Sports Super Centre in Runaway Bay, the Gold Coast 100 is a thrilling long-distance run which takes place on a flat circuit. There are a variety of distances for all ages and capabilities, including relay events for groups, teens and kids.

The Gold Coast 100km Supermarathon is the main event of the Gold Coast 100 which requires eight laps around the Sports Super Centre flat circuit. It’s a huge challenge for participants, and an entertaining spectacle for spectators as Australia’s elite runners take on a distance that more than doubles in traditional marathon length.

Hand-in-hand with the 100km Supermarathon is the Runaway Bay 50km, as well as the 42.2km Gold Coast Runaway Bay Marathon, 25km and 12.5km distances. Attendees are also able to join in a number of relay events, including the Gold Coast 100 4 x 25km and 3 x 6.25km. 2019 will see a special introduction of relay races for teens and kids, which will include 3 x 2km for ages under 12, 3 x 2km for ages 13 and 14, and 3 x 6.25km for ages over 15.

The Gold Coast 100 is an exciting challenge for both seasoned and first-time runners, and offers its participants open aid stations – both in the stadium and halfway around the circuit – for use as the event unfolds. Each participant receives a free race singlet and a commemorative medallion, with first, second and third-place winners eligible for trophies!
